KP bowls a 300

On April 7, 2009 in the Managers Invitational League at Brunswick Vista Lanes we had a very long awaited event occur. Kenneth P Johnson, better know as KP to his friends, bowled his first 300 game. As told by one of the other bowlers present, KP showed no signs of pressure and looked like he did this every week. All three shots in the 10th frame were in the pocket and seened to be effortless in nature.

There are two things that make this story special. First is that KP had just purchased the ball be bolwed the 300 game with. In fact Tiffany of Bowlers Advantage drilled it that same day and didn't get it to KP in time to start the first game. I believe the 300 was the first complete game be bowled with the ball; a Psycho Raw Hammer.

The second and more notable issue is that KP, a Senior Life Member of the Antelope Valley USBC Association, was 84 years of age at the time. Granted he is not your typical 80 year old but quite a feat regardless.

Congratulations KP on your 300 game and hope it dosen't take this long for your next one!
